  Wish I could give this agency a zero. Had an awful experience with this travel agency. Staff do not know the first thing about customer service. My husband and I were stranded in South Africa after going to the Durban airport, without any communication received from both St Ives travel and Qantus. Our domestic flight from Durban to Johannesburg was booked with British Airways who went into liquidation, unbeknown to us as we received no communication from st Ives travel. This flight was cancelled. We frantically tried other airlines at the airport to no avail. We were to leave Durban on Wednesday 15 June to be back in Sydney on Thursday 16 June 2022. We contacted Qantas directly as it was 8 pm in Sydney at the time. They advised us that all agencies and their own customers had been advised on 9 June of the cancellation of British Airways flights and confirmed that our travel agency would have received this email. We were forced to rebook for Saturday 18 June to arrive in Sydney on Sunday 19June 2022. I rang St Ives Travel at open of business the next day and spoke to Kerry who refused for me to speak to the owner or the manager. I ended up telling her what had happened and she promised to contact me immediately. I gave her a contact email address in South Africa and confirmed my telephone details. She has not contacted me to date!!!!! We were left out to dry. What appalling service!!! Would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

  Excellent service from Sophie.
  Handled booking professionally and answered all questions.
  This store answered my initial phone call quickly and advised no appointment booking time was necessary.
  I had early gone to another travel agency in Warriewood and Warringah Mall only to be told appointment bookings were necessary. This follows 2 phone calls to Warringah Mall store where the calls went unanswered and dropped out .
  Will definitely use and recommend St Ives Travel in the future.

  Sue Lacey has been our exclusive travel agent for over 10 years. We always consult her first for her infinite wisdom on all of our travel ideas. She has an amazing attention to detail as well as in-depth knowledge of all modes of travel.
  
  Sue is calm in an emergency when strikes severely affect travel arrangements. Sue is able to find flights rapidly and offer excellent advice that one cannot find online. Complicated itineraries are handled with aplomb.
  
  Nothing is a problem and service is second to none. Sue checks daily on all your bookings to ensure no devious changes have been made by any travel provider.
  
  We would never contemplate any travel without speaking to Sue seeking her knowledge and guidance.

  I’m usually not one to do a review but have to share the wonderful experience we had with St Ives Travel and in particular, a lovely young lady, named Kerry. Kerry went above and beyond to help us with our small booking, which has now led us to return for a rather large booking. The help and experienced knowledge Kerry shared and gave us was unbelievable. I genuinely feel that she cares for her clients and takes pride in imparting her experiences with us. Kerry personally dropped in some paperwork to me in her own time and on the weekend! We seem to hear about and dwell on the negative but this really was a positive experience, which needs to be highlighted. Full credit is due to Kerry and the team. Well done!
